It’s not often you find yourself in the middle of a wildflower meadow picking wild strawberries whilst in the middle of a major city. But that’s exactly what you get when you visit Manor Fields Park.

Run by Green Estates, this park has a very different vibe to most parks in Sheffield. It’s a mixture of wildflowers, tucked away meadows, winding streams and a nature pond, combined with decent paths, two parks and sculptures.

It’s really easy to get to as well, just off City road it has its own car park and is close to the Spring Lane tram stop. The park is linked to Manor Lodge, which has the lovely Rhubarb Shed cafe.

First SPP visit: April 2017
